A fix to last week's release of Voicetones Studio was posted today.
Download the latest version 5.2 from the SOFTWARE page
Those of you who downloaded a new version of Voicetones Studio reported that the software was crashing on startup have a fix in place. It seems it was an installer issue and some outdated support files made into the release.
The current version on the site, marked 5.2, has fixed those installation issues by including the correct files. Please keep the request for features coming!

You can just do more with myphonefiles than ever before. As before, you can still make ringtones, download photos and video clips to your mobile phone. But there is more. This season focus is on the new feature
of Media Studio, which is audio streaming. In effect, if you are one of those creative types that make your own podcasts, you can use the software to run your own internet radio station. You will receive your own public URL you can giveaway to others, that brings everyone to your broadcasts.

Si-Gi Released.
Si-Gi stands for "See it - Get it", and it refers to images and photos you see every day while browsing the Internet. It is a plugin for your your browser that makes sending images from your browser (any web page) to your phone much easier.
Ever saw an interesting image you would like to take with you on your mobile phone? With Si-Gi you right click on the image and.. well, ... send it to phone. Images are stored in your online locker for multiple retrieval. Enjoy!

Verizon update
I was able to confirm myphonefiles.com successfully on Verizon's LG Chocolate phone. This is one well put together phone. Just make sure you send everything to yournumber@vzwpix.com destination, where yournumber is of course the ten
digits of your phone number. For instance, if your Verizon phone number was (222)555-1234 then you'd need to send ringtones, photos, and videos to 2225551234@vzwpix.com. Enjoy and have a great New Year!

Cingular update
It appears that some you (Cingular) users experienced problems downloading your files to your phone via text messages. It also appears that the problems were geographically limited only to certain areas of the United States. There are some Cingular phones that worked just fine all along. Anyway, "data server not found", "gateway not available" seem to have been some of the error messages.
If you are a Cingular user that was unable to download within the past month or so, I would like to encourage you to try again. Just make sure that you send everything using @mobile.mycingular.com mobile address, to ensure that your link is routed through the new data proxy I have set up.
For example: if you mobile phone number was (123)555-1234, then make sure you type 1235551234@mobile.mycingular.com in the "send to" box.

T-Mobile update
T-Mobile users will be glad to know that their T-Mobile phones are now supported. T-Mobile users always need to enter number@tmomail.net in send to phone boxes. number is of course the 10-digit phone number (no leading "1") without any spaces, dashes, etc.
For example if your T-Mobile phone number was (222)555-1234, then send everything to 2225551234@tmomail.net.
Please test your phone again and let us know if you are able to download your files.
